"The
author excels at descriptive narrative..."
Kaye Trout's Book Review |
A Promise for Destiny
By Leonard Moody
Nanner (Tupper
Lake, NY) Says:
"This is an awesome book. The story line keeps you interested and it is not predictable. The author makes you want to know all about the characters and doesn't bore you with trivial details. The romance portions of the story are tactful yet stimulating, which I find appealing in this day and age. He leaves a bit to the imagination, which is one of the things that impressed me the most, especially coming from a male author. He paints an alluring picture of the Adirondack wilderness with an obvious passion and knowledge that he possesses for it.

I read your book and loved it. (first book in over 20 yrs. I started and
finished) . I found myself wondering just where the cabin was located,
and imagined it was near mount arab road, or gull pond area. I loved the
familiar landmarks mentioned in the book as being a resident I know most
of the areas mentioned including Scanlon's bakery in Harrisville. .....I
figured the special place to be somewhere on Mt. Arab. I know it is
fiction, but I found myself standing on my front porch looking toward
the mountain wondering where the graves may be. I.....My wife also read
the book and loved it. She reads books all the time and found your's
quite interesting
